Overcoming the Impact of Alcoholism and Addiction
It’s true. The simples life choice can change and impact you in many ways. The way you act and respond to a situation can change the outcome of that situation for better or for worse. Just waking up everyday for some people and even for myself can be hard but we make that decision everyday. The more you are determined to make better the better you will become. The second you change the way you think the worse off you will be. It’s as if you’ve studied for a test for hours upon hours and you get to that test and you know everything but the moment you go back and change your mind and redo all the answers everything changes. You are all way better off going with the choices you know are good then changing the choices to reflect on one’s that are bad. But the more you know right?
I realized that later in life after I went through a lot more. My father passing had changed my life and he made that choice to take his own life. I was 10 years old warm and bright and brilliant in my mind! But the moment I found out he was gone my life changed forever. My decisions in life started to reflect on the decisions he had made making sure I always did the right thing rather than the wrong thing. I always knew I wanted to grow up and be the better man because how was I supposed to not be a better man. My dad changed our lives so I wanted to change everyone else’s life around and make theirs better. But sometimes in those moments of helping things sometimes got worse. But we all knew that to make the right decisions you had to keep the right mindset. If you have a bad mindset you’ll tend to normally have a bad outcome and that’s where things will tend to lead bad. I always learn from other’s experiences and not make them bad experiences make them learning ones. Because no mistake is a bad mistake just as long as it was a mistake and you learn from it. Learning and growing makes you stronger and better. With all the thing in life that we can all experience there’s nothing better than making the right decisions that follow by right outcomes and positive outcomes. The more positive outcomes we have the better off the world and everyone will be.
