I am interested in pursuing an education in aircraft maintenance because I believe that it is a field that will never see a reduction in need, as time and technology moves on more fields are reliant on aviation! Aviation is heavily relied on in our everyday lives even though most people don't notice it or think of any reason it should be. Still, the products that you buy or use every day have to be shipped to the store you purchased them at and most products come from overseas like China for instance. I have noticed the importance of aviation maintenance and would enjoy the opportunity to contribute and bring what I have to the field. Aviation maintenance isn't just a desire but a necessity in this current day and age as aviation becomes a primary use in other pre-existing and new fields of work. As technology continuously improves more utilities are becoming aviation-related, such as cars that soon enough will most likely end up in the aviation field and be similar to the vertical takeoff and landing jets that exist today. As I had mentioned before there will always be available jobs in the aviation maintenance field, meaning more job opportunities are available for anyone interested. The aviation field pays highly because more is expected of you, the plane has to be in peak shape to ensure the safety of all who travel on it and that is the job of the AMT. I would like to get into the Aviation maintenance field because I enjoy working out in the garage and have the motivation to take on a new challenge such as working on planes, helicopters, or even rockets. My main interest in this field lies in the supersonic jets coming in the near future with companies like BOOM, it's new developments like this that keep so many interested in the field of aviation because you have a chance to not only work on something you love but something that may very well shape the future of the aviation world. The changing shape of the aviation industry requires new people interested in the aviation field to step up and learn the required knowledge to be able to work on these machines and make them usable by the general public. Not just anybody who learns the material can work on these machines. However, the mechanic needs to prove that they care for their job and would do everything they can to make these machines safe because what they do is reflected when these machines are used. The people that require their services are putting their faith in the hands of the mechanics responsible for working on these aircraft.
