I have been passionate about the ocean for as long as I can remember. My ultimate goal in life is to be doing something that makes a difference in the health of our oceans, and I have considered working for a non-profit. After having spent a year and a half in Hawai'i, this desire has only increased, and I am currently planning to attend the University of Western Australia in February of 2026 to begin the work of obtaining my Masters in Oceanography. While I have received a lot of support from my family, paying for my education and loans, as well as my housing and necessities to live while in school, has been, and will continue to be, entirely my responsibility. I am thankful for bold.org, as it is a great opportunity to earn what I need to achieve my goals.
