Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins has the most important message to me. The song is about a parent who tries to take away the child's power. The child doesn't let the parent take away their power and continues to smile at them. That child refuses to continue the harmful cycle of their parents and their predecessors. This song is about breaking the cycle and not letting other people control how you lead the rest of your life. It's so empowering and discusses turning hate into love.

My adrenaline rushes and my heart flourishes when I'm needed. I am a month away from completing my High Schools C.N.A. program and during the clinicals at the hospital and the nursing home, my love for nursing and helping others has grown. I love being a helpful person, a source of comfort, and often a source of relief for people who need it. Although it's a hard job with long hours and heart-wrenching loss it's always worth the sacrifice, it's always worth the effort, and it's always worth the time. It's important to me because I've been my mom's caregiver for as long as I can remember. No matter how hard I've tried to help her but, what I've been able to do is limited. I want to become a nurse to expand my skills and talents to be a true asset to those who need it. To be that nurse in the crowd that knows CPR, that nurse that can help stabilize someone that needs immediate medical attention out in public. Also, nursing can provide me with the flexibility to be able to maintain my mental health and my social life. I can travel and work in new places and experience new things. I can accomplish my goals and fulfill my life's purpose through nursing.
