The challenges I have come across while pursuing my education are the financial hardships that I am enduring due to domestic violence. It has had a huge impact on my well-being and my ability to take care of myself. The biggest problem with domestic violence I have noticed is the lack of supportive networks and how it has become a societal Negative Norm because people just look the other way. When society does not stand up for what is right and condemn what is wrong we create an environment that is very segregated and this creates a shunned exclusion for the victim, who desperately needs an intervention. Personally, I have also found that the police system is faulty in disarming the situation and often will leave the victim feeling like they are at fault for the abuse and the abuser see's no consequences for their abusive and destructive behavior. This only increases the abuse because the perpetrator feels like he did nothing wrong and the abuse causes even more damage to the victim. According to NCADV.org an online site for the statistics on domestic violence report that one in three women are abused and one in four men in their lifetime by an intimate partner. (NCADV). It also states that an estimated 20 people every sixty seconds are being physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States and only 18% of that abuse is reported. (NCADV). That is a shocking amount of abuse that is going left unreported, and the abusers who aren't reported continue to display this kind of aggressive behavior throughout their life. It also states statistically that one in five women has been raped in their lifetime and one in seventy-one men has been raped in their lifetime. More than 45% of these rapes were by an acquaintance of some kind. (NCADV). This is just not acceptable behavior and more needs to be done about the consequences that the abuser sees to reduce the statistics. Also, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence published a report that states In Washington State alone there are 50,688 active protection orders, of which almost 24,000 had a Brady Disqualifying factor meaning they lost their gun rights. (NCADV). So remember you are not alone and if you are in crisis, it's requested you call The National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or www.TheHotline.org. (NCADV). Continuing my education and becoming a productive influence on my local community is vital to the health and well-being of myself as well as, all those who suffer silently from domestic violence. Having a degree in Medical Administration at the management level will allow me to implement new protocols and surveys to increase the knowledge of employees to have a trained eye in noticing the signs and symptoms of abuse of any kind so that we can help those who want help find the proper resources and tools set in place to support someone who is enduring the worse kind of violence. This is how I will try to use my professional/technical degree and stem education to improve the world around me and hopefully the world as a whole. We must watch out and love thy neighbor as we love ourselves and be of assistance when there is an extreme need for help! Cited from: https://ncadv.org/

I am inspired by technology because there are so many things we can research and study out there on the world wide web. You have the ability to look up anything your heart desires, and travel the world to see things you otherwise would have never known existed. Further, today's technology is advancing faster every year and evolving the way we learn, think, and live. It improves not only our personal lives but also our professional lives as well. With many ways, we can find information or share it. It also opens so many possibilities for what you can do during your home life too. As everything does advance through evolution, we too have been going through changes through technology. It changes the way we work and the way education is teaching us. We now can learn from anywhere we can get internet access which is very beneficial to people who suffer from Agoraphobia and or Anxiety because it allows us the same equal access to education, that others that do not suffer from these setbacks have by opening up the option to learn where we are comfortable and therefore allows us to fully gain all the benefits of education that the advanced technology offers us today, that once was a shut door to us with only traditional schooling. It is making our world a better place by allowing us to learn and work on the go, this gives us a better time management ability. It also is good for our environment because it can reduce the amount of paper we need to use, by signing up for paperless billing, that saves our trees from being decreased and also helps us by cutting down the cost of logging. Reducing pollution we created by logging as well. Which is all very beneficial to our future generations and helps protect our eco zone when we do. I think that technology is so important to many of today's issues and the fact that it is advancing our understanding at twice the rate as it used to goes to show that there are unlimited options for using that technology and living in this information and digital era influences our who existence to be more eco-friendly and green consciences, which in=mproves the outcome for all in the future,
