Hello, my name is Toni Boyd. I am a proud wife, mother of four, retired U.S. Navy veteran, and a nursing student driven by a deep calling to serve others. My time in the military shaped me through discipline, leadership, and perseverance, while also requiring me to navigate life with PTSD. These challenges have strengthened my resilience and deepened my compassion for those facing difficult circumstances. In addition to my studies, I homeschool my two youngest children and help operate a nurse staffing business that supports local healthcare facilities and gives back to the community. Balancing family, academics, and entrepreneurship is demanding, but my children inspire me to keep moving forward. I want them to see that faith, determination, and love can carry us through even the hardest seasons. Nursing is more than a career choice for me; it is a calling that blends my passion for service with my desire to uplift others. I have founded an organization that assists families with basic needs and regularly volunteer with outreach efforts to support my community. I am also highly engaged in my school community, serving as a peer academic leader. I enjoy supporting classmates through tutoring, organizing food donations for the campus food pantry, and participating in service-focused college initiatives.
