Service is not what I do it is who I am. My name is Tiffany S. Scott, and for over a decade I have dedicated my life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, an Emergency Medical Technician, and a Technical Sergeant in the Nevada Air National Guard. I am pursuing my Associate Degree in Nursing because advancing my education is the next essential step in fulfilling that calling at the highest level possible. I currently serve as NCOIC of Technician Recovery for our CERFP team the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package leading the medical extraction and care of personnel operating in hazardous environments. In my civilian role, I provide daily care to veterans at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System. These men and women gave everything, and they deserve providers who show up with both clinical excellence and genuine compassion. Beyond the clinic, I serve as Chair of Recreational Activities for the Northern Nevada Black Cultural Awareness Society and on the Medical Board at Second Baptist Church, because I believe health equity begins in the community. Mentorship is woven into everything I do as a Unit Career Advisor, I invest daily in the next generation of Airmen and caregivers. My goals are clear: commission as a military officer and advance into VA healthcare leadership, two paths that both require the stronger clinical foundation this degree will provide. I promise to honor this investment not just in the classroom, but in every veteran I treat, every Airman I mentor, and every community I serve.
