My journey toward obtaining an Environmental Studies degree at Trinity University is preparing me to tackle environmental and ecological issues through an interdisciplinary lens. I plan to graduate with a minor in Biology as well, anticipating that a greater understanding of the inner workings of other living organisms would give me additional insight in how to support and protect them. I aim to find solutions that will help preserve the beauty of our planet through a scientific approach in an ethically and economically sound manner. This scholarship would help as I prepare to pursue my career goal of becoming a wildlife conservationist by granting me opportunities to gain valuable class and field experience. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and I am excited to continue my education here. It would be an honor to help preserve the natural beauty of the city and the state that have significantly contributed to who I am today.
