Hi, my name is Tessa, I am a freshman soon-to-be sophomore in high school. I was born in Germany and raised there for 7 years and then I moved out here because of my dad's job. I want to say I'm a great student and an amazing daughter but that's obviously not true. We all make mistakes varying from not getting the best grade to saying something we don't mean. For most of my life, I wouldn't have believed to attend college or university in the US but I am currently in the process of proving myself wrong. I hope that I can someday try to get into one of these amazing schools with hard work and patience. My dad grew up in Germany while my mom grew up in Mexico. I was given the amazing opportunity to have 2 ethnicities and to travel a lot. I have lived in Russia, China, Germany, and now the United States. I have traveled to a lot of countries varying from Europe to South America to Asia. As I continue to travel I realize how lucky I am and how grateful I am to be in my position because not everyone gets to have these opportunities and you see a lot of that when you travel. I will forever be grateful to my parents for enabling these things for me. I plan to study criminology, medicine, or law because I want to have the opportunity to help others and make a difference in the world even if it is a small one. I hope one day I can be in any of these fields, whichever I may choose, with hard work and belief in yourself you can achieve everything and anything.
