Hi, I'm Tess Luebke, and I'm a senior at Notre Dame. I've been rowing since the fall of my freshman year, and I've learned so many life skills from being on the team. I learned leadership, communication, and how to push myself both physically and mentally. I also work outside of school as a golf caddie at Inverness Club. I have learned a variety of skills while working--like teamwork, resilience, customer service, and confidence. In school, I enjoy math and science-based classes, such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, AP chemistry, biology, physics, and calculus. I have also been playing the violin in the honors orchestra since freshman year. I love being in the honors orchestra because that means every year, we get to compete at a regional band/orchestra solo and ensemble contest. Once I graduate high school, I'm majoring in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Toledo, where I will also be rowing D1. I plan to keep working as a golf caddie in the late spring, summer, and early fall because UToledo is so close. Even though I will be too old to altar serve at my church, I still plan on being involved and volunteering in my community through reading, ushering, and decoration setup. I have been an altar server since fourth grade (2017), and I still serve the members of my community.
