I started taking concurrent enrollment courses at Red Rocks Community College during my sophomore year of high school and have continued to do so to date. Although I originally planned to graduate from Platte Canyon High School Class of 2023, due to my credit achievement and eagerness to begin college, I graduated in 2022 at 16 instead. Since beginning college courses, I have discovered a love for international business and economics. This upcoming school year, I will be branching into new territory for me as I complete my first year of Army ROTC at Colorado School of Mines. Alongside my school work, I am incredibly passionate about aerial silks, which I began when I was seven and began teaching when I was 14. My dream career is to open an aerial arts studio!

As young children, we have an extraordinary power to try new things and not fear failure or shame. The passion I would have never discovered if it were not for the child version of me was aerial silks, and I am incredibly grateful to my younger self for taking her first aerial silks class. When I was seven, I had been taking traditional dance classes such as ballet and jazz for four years, and while I loved it, I remember being consistently bored with the class, wishing we would do something more exhilarating.
I was about to abandon dance when my mom brought me to "Kurio," a Cirque de Soleil show in Denver. After the performance, I immediately knew that was what I wanted to do, and luckily for me, right around that time, a dance studio close to my house began offering aerial silks classes. After my first class, I was hooked and solely took aerial silk classes for three years, after which I started to get back into traditional dance styles, which further complemented my newly found passion. By the time I was 11, I was at the highest level offered at my studio, and I flourished off of the artistic and physical challenge aerial silks offered. At 14, I began teaching aerial silks classes which instilled a deep love of sharing something I was so passionate about with others.
Now, I am the primary aerial teacher at my studio, and I take classes all around Denver in various disciplines of aerial arts, such as lyra and trapeze. Aerial silks has brought me so many friends, connections, and has played a significant role in solidifying who I am as a person today.
