Hello, I’m Taylor Jackson! I’m starting my Senior year of high school. I’m interested in learning about many things; I want to live life to the fullest and experience all it has to offer. I have been to a lot of different camps including, the DAAP camp for Fashion Design at University of Cincinnati and a film camp at Huntington University. I am most passionate about art; I love anything art related! I also dance at a local studio in my town and have attended 3 annual recitals. I draw, design, dance, write, sing, sew, and cook in my free time. Whatever it is that I am doing, I am creating. My aspiration to become a Fashion Designer started when I was young. I was with my Grandmother, a seamstress, in her sewing room and I remember looking at all of the different colors, patterns, and styles of fabric she had; it blew me away. We would pick a few different pieces of fabric out and create dresses, pants, shirts, jackets, any piece of clothing that we could. I realized just how much creative freedom that fashion design could give you. Fabric choice, style, and especially the meaning behind the piece. Fashion design could give me a voice; I could speak to people through my designs and that is exactly what I want to do.
