My life goals include becoming a Sonographer, a mother, and a wife. I am most passionate about my family and my fur babies. I am a family girl to my core. My other passions include my love for fashion and my drive to educate others about Type 1 Diabetes. I am a great candidate for receiving scholarships because I grew up in a low-income household with a young and single mom. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 5 which added to the challenges my mom faced taking care of my sister and me. My dad has struggled with addiction his entire life which has prevented a relationship between us. I want to face the odds and follow my dreams. I will not let any adversities define my future. That being said the financial hardship of tuition will potentially hinder my ability to pursue my career goals. I would be beyond grateful to receive any assistance towards my tuition.
