Throughout my high school experience, I have always had the dream of being an entrepreneur. Something within me always had a love for the creative process of starting something new, being a natural-born leader that was always told the struggles of business and never taught about the success known as the aftermath of the hard work. My ideas were constantly shut down by the people I shared them with which caused me to be discouraged, pushing me away from my dreams. With the lack of resources for free business tips and motivation to step out of the box, I wish to help other young entrepreneurs with a dream and tell them the words I once needed to hear. I learned when talking to other small business owners how important it is to accept both success and failure when starting up but the main piece of advice was how you feel within. I would like to expand the information I have learned and how the business realm is more than the money, how it's about the love you have for doing what you do, the process to success, the research and studies about the market, having a team and learning what type of business you would like to own. With new-age technology, there are so many ways you can go with starting a business that it's such an open field but you have to have the stive to start and complete even if the success doesn't happen overnight. But not only will I be helping out the community with my words, with my esthetician license under my belt, but I would also host workshops teaching others the great benefits of skincare and how to properly understand your skin beyond product marketing tactics. Being a woman who once was clueless about skin . I once felt alone when trying to understand my skin strictly off the internet, which caused me to try countless products leaving me disappointed and insecure about my skin. Since self-confidence is important when being a leader, I would teach how to properly love your skin even with blemishes since nobody is perfect, teaching the joys of self-love and worth to my community that would not only bring me joy but it'll leave people with a sense of self and the understanding of the skin. Since my business goal is for people to leave my esthetician business feeling fresh, I would want this effect to be both physical and within. Since I have a passion for meditation and yoga, I would have a part of my shop every Sunday to start people in my communities days off fresh with a morning mediation and afternoon yoga. Since the week can already be stressful, a day to yourself to stretch and breathe can increase happiness for the people around me. Since the depression rate has gone up since the pandemic and so many limitations I would also offer this workshop online for people across the world to see, so it's both open in person and online it could help people more than just the city of Atlanta but around the U.S. All of these ideas would support me throughout my career since I would build a connection with others by spreading this information bringing in more clients and gaining loyalty since I do all of my work with love. My business goal would be overall achieved by bringing happiness to others which would allow me to expand my business venues over time due to having so many clients which would allow my creative process to roll.
