Ever since I was little I always wondered, “How does one make music?” I always wanted to make music like the songs I would hear on the radio. Back then I didn’t realize how many different aspects come into play when creating music. I loved music while growing up, singing along to whatever songs that were playing on the radio to joining choir from junior high to high school. I always wanted to be surrounded by music, but I didn’t know where to start to make a career out of it. Flash forward to college and I stumbled upon a class talking about the basics of music technology. From then on I’m hooked, I have to learn as much as I can so I can fully understand what goes into making music. Since then I have taken every class that Cerritos College has to offer that revolves around recorded music and slowly became the tutor for the program to help fellow students who are also trying to find their feet in the Commercial Music program offered at the school. I am extremely passionate about music and music production. I am hoping to further my education in music technology and recording by transferring to a school that could help me along this journey.
