Hi! I'm Taya Ohmer, a senior in high school hoping to attend a 4 year university and double major in marketing and fine arts. I am passionate about business, wellness, and empowering others through both my work and creative endeavors. As co-owner and Head of Marketing for Illumin Wellness, I’ve led campaigns that promoted cryotherapy and red light therapy, helping people find us and ignite their body's ability to heal naturally. I also taught myself to code and designed and launched the company’s website. This work has inspired me to one day launch a marketing company that empowers minorities by overcoming barriers in business. I also hope to expand the reach of the Golden Movement, an Asian Empowerment Club I founded at my school. I am an artist, featured in many successful exhibitions, and my most recent project is a school mural to honor the Tatcan people. Oh, and in case you need something to remember me by—I have three kidneys! Additionally, I’m a thrower in track and field and love to stay active. These experiences fuel my passion for leadership and my goal of making a lasting impact on my community and beyond.
