Tania is a nontraditional psychology student and licensed hairstylist with over 13 years of professional experience. She is pursuing a career in mental health counseling, inspired by years of building trusted relationships and providing emotional support within her community. In addition to managing full-time job and school, Tania volunteers weekly with Crisis Text Line, where she supports individuals experiencing emotional crisis. Her academic journey reflects perseverance, strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to service. As a first-generation college student and proud daughter of immigrants, Tania is motivated by gratitude and purpose.
