I am a black woman enrolled in my first year of college as an undecided major. I have recently become interested in economics after randomly taking a microeconomics class during my first semester and performing well in it. I have become very interested in the topic of economics and the flow of money throughout the world, and the factors that affect the economy. I have been interested in the value of money since childhood, and that interest has only grown since I started working for my own money. I hope to build on that interest as I continue school and use my knowledge after I graduate to contribute to something bigger than myself and possibly improve the quality of someone's life by improving the economy as a whole or on an individual level. I am a hard-working individual that has never let an obstacle get in my way of achieving my goals, so I am positive that I will accomplish this.
