I am a first-generation college student from Bangladesh. I strive to be the first person in my family to hold a college degree and professional career. I want to inspire my younger sister and my nieces and nephews to work hard and pursue higher education. I am currently a junior majoring in Human Development & Family Studies, but my ultimate goal is to enroll in flight school after graduation. I have always been passionate about aviation and travel since I was a little girl and aspired to be an airline pilot. Men dominate this field, but I hope to be a part of the small but growing percentage of women pilots. My goal in life is to travel to every single country in the world. I believe that I am a great candidate because I work to provide for myself while maintaining a high GPA since starting college. I work hard every day to achieve my dreams and inspire those younger than me to do the same. Being an independent student without parental support is challenging; however, it pushes me to succeed in achieving my future endeavors.
