Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a freshman in college at the University of Delaware, where I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I plan on graduating in May of 2027 with my BSN and starting my career as a full-time registered nurse. After gaining experience, I plan on applying to a Nurse Practitioner program and earning a higher degree in nursing. I am extremely passionate about helping others and I consider it my calling in life! I believe that all individuals, regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, gender, ethnicity, etc. deserve the best care and support when they are suffering. I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I am very hard-working and never shy away from a challenge. I push myself to my fullest potential and always seek out opportunities to improve my success. I care deeply for others but am able to take initiative and offer tough love when necessary.
