I am a service-driven student leader committed to becoming a pediatrician and using medicine to strengthen my community. Raised by a mother who is an educator, I learned early that leadership means consistency, compassion, and putting others first. Through volunteering in schools, reading to younger students, community clean-ups, coat and toy drives, animal shelter service, and suicide awareness initiatives, I have centered my life around supporting children and families. My internship at Ochsner Medical Center further solidified my goal of becoming a pediatrician who cares for the whole child—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Cheerleading has been one of my most meaningful leadership platforms. As a four-year member and two-year captain of my high school cheer team, and as a junior coach for elementary teams, I have learned to lead by example, build confidence, and foster an inclusive, positive environment. My all-star cheer experience—including earning a World Champion title and being named an All-American twice—strengthened my discipline, resilience, and time-management skills. I am a strong scholarship candidate because I balance academic excellence with sustained community engagement. I have earned a 4.3 GPA, multiple Honor Roll recognitions, and membership in the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. I plan to pursue a rigorous science pathway, attend medical school, and become a pediatrician. This scholarship will allow me to focus on my education while continuing my commitment to leadership and service.
