Do you ever look at the sky in a night of stars and wonder how everything came to be? Sometimes, I think about my favorite fact that elements that form our DNA, such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and more, were made by stars and released into the cosmos when the stars die. Furthermore, I think God is so intelligent and wise in connecting everything all at once. From the tiniest atoms to the complexities of modern technology, to me, God's presence is undeniable. Reflecting on my journey and experiences, I believe in a Creator, God, who meticulously crafted the universe, strengthened by personal conviction and biblical passages. I don't follow a religion, but I do follow what the Bible says to be true, and I believe that the Bible is the human guide provided by God to live the earthly life. I respect everyone's opinion about the creation of life; I do like to engage in conversations about the studies in evolutionary biology that conclude that human beings came from ancestral primates, but I mostly agree with those like me that believes if things were created and evolved. Thus, it has a Creator. A passage in the New Testament further reinforces my conviction that God created and evolved with His will. The Gospel of John (1:3) proclaims, "Through him, all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made." This verse is enough for me to believe that the creation came from a divine source, affirming a Creator's presence behind the universe's intricacies. Recently, when I was in a group of people talking about the universe, people were saying their theories, the Big Bang, that there is life out there; one of them, knowing my beliefs, asked me, "What do you think, Sue? Do you think that God has another "Earth" out there?" It was a tricky question, and I didn't have much time to elaborate. Still, my logical response was: Well, God created a solar system with a big star in its center, with a precise gravity force, not enough to pull or push us away; same for our planet Earth, with the perfect and accurate gravity force and elements that make life possible, as well as another planet that I'm confident they have a purpose to be there. If there is another solar system like ours, life can be created; however, it will only happen with God's will." While some may question the existence of God due to the presence of suffering or the complexities of the universe, my journey reaffirms the belief in a Creator who intricately designed heaven and Earth, has created my life, and planned everything for me since before I was even born.
