My goals in life are to make myself and my family proud by becoming the first college graduate with a successful job. I hope that my parents struggle was for something and that I will be able to make it up to them one day. I believe I am a strong candidate for this scholarship because I have demonstrated academics, leadership skills, and a drive to overcome obstacles. My passion for nursing is also strong, as being able to help others one-on-one brings me pleasure and the willingness to continue.
