I am a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in both competitive athletics and healthcare. As a former Division I collegiate student-athlete, I successfully balanced a demanding academic schedule with daily training commitments. Navigating the challenges of athletics taught me valuable skills in dedication, time management, and balancing multiple responsibilities. Building on over ten years of experience in healthcare, I have worked in a variety of roles, including EMT, Neurological Physical Therapy Aide, and Mohs Skin Cancer Surgical Assistant. These positions have provided me with hands-on experience in both patient care and surgical procedures, where I had the opportunity to aid individuals recovering from neurological conditions and assist in skin cancer surgeries. Through these roles, I developed a deeper passion for patient-centered care and nursing. Beyond my professional and academic endeavors, I am passionate about outdoor activities. Raised in Utah and having lived in Arizona, I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping. Spending time in nature not only fuels my love for physical activity but also helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance, fostering excellence in both my personal and professional life. I worked with each of the girls individually, explaining ways to approach new situations where they were scared or nervous. Then, I walked them through their fears and how to focus their emotions. I also broke each step down into manageable steps, helping them to understand the motion itself.
