I want to complete the HVAC course at charter college in order to maintain my four kids. I want to pursue a higher education since being a low class family and living pay check to pay check puts a lot of stress on my family as a whole. I had my first son when I was sixteen years old and my second at eighteen, bought my first home at nineteen Covid happened then I lost my grandpa who had a ductwork installation shop tried taking over but had no knowledge or experience to keep it running. Having a college degree in the HVAC industry would open up a lot of doors for me and would give me hope to one day up my grandpa shop back up. I currently live in Quincy Washington where there is an abundance of data centers that I have a desire to get into with knowledge and experience I hope to start a career with Microsoft. I hope when I graduate from charter in the summer of 2024, I’m able to start my career as a refrigeration tech at lamb Weston and gain crucial experience needed besides having a degree. Hopefully after the stress journey of school I am able to send my kids to college as well so they don’t struggle as much as I do right now at the age of twenty three I hope I am the right candidate for this scholarship as it would not go to waste thank you for your time and consideration on my application.
