I am married but currently works weekends as a security personal in an adult facility care (JKV) because of my school schedules. My wife has been my only help, she pushed me to enroll in this academic pursuit because she understood my passion is to care for the elderly. I’m from Africa and I believe God’s plan for me is to fulfill my dreams in this country as a healthcare professional. It’s been really tough keeping up with finances and even spending time with my wife because I’m in an accelerated BSN 3 yr program that will end in September 2023. I am a God fearing, honest, intelligent, motivated, team player, and humble person whom is easy to get along with and I could read, write and speak fluent English with moderate computer skills. I wake up everyday and give thanks for the current, and for the future opportunities ahead and appreciate everything that comes my way.

I am currently studying to become a RN with a Bachelor degree in nursing at Arizona College and will be graduating August, 2023. I was born and raised in Nigeria western part of Africa to a family of five children. I was inspired to study and become a Nurse practitioner NP one day and invest my knowledge and resources in helping out people from my home country, because while growing up I witnessed a lot of mistake that could have been prevented leading to the death of my loved one and so many other extended family members by nurses and some doctors in Nigeria. I am not here to judge anybody but the truth is the way the healthcare system is being controlled over there in Nigeria needs to be modified and many healthcare workers need to be held accountable for their services just like the way you could loose your license over here in the U.S for not practicing according to the standard of practice. I want to make sure I impact the healthcare system back home in Nigeria as much as possible with awareness and lots of campaigns focused on educating the public and healthcare workers about the importance of following evidence based practice EBP as the best alternative to help reduce the high mortality rate for patients on admission in these clinics or hospitals. And I believe with the right resources and accountability in place and God as my support I’ll get this done very soon. My vision to impact the community back home as always been part of my dreams and I believe that’s why I was blessed to have the opportunity to come to the country and fulfill those dreams and even more because I have my own family now in the U. S. as I’m now a citizen in this country.
