Bio

Hello! My name is Stephanie Williams and I am 32 years old. I currently live in Sebring Shores, FL. My goals are to graduate from SCF in Bradenton, FL with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I hope and pray to be teaching inside a public school teaching kindergarten math. I am a teacher for a migrant program with head start. I have been teaching for 10 years and counting. I am very passionate about the way I treat other people. There is a golden rule that says, "Treat others the way you want to be treated." I love God with all my heart and my soul. I do believe he rose from the dead and has descended to heaven. I do believe that he is coming back one day. I have been very happy with my school selection and where I am getting my degree. Many of my friends go to this school and I am very happy with that. I love to help people when they are in need and teach children the education they need to accomplish their goals in school.

    Bold Perseverance Scholarship
During the year of 2021 in the month of July, I encountered a car accident that almost took me away from my schooling. I went to the hospital by ambulance na scame out the same day. I went home and all obstacles just fell through the roof. I received a call that I might not be getting any benefits for my accident. I planned to finish my work week out at my job, but that did not matter to my supervisor. I had school to think about and my career. I did not know what to expect so I decided to focus on my studies. One month had passed and still no reaction to what the car accident would bring. As I began my journey through the doctor path, I was very scared that I would have to drop my job, my school, and my home. I began to look for different ways to get done faster with school, not knowing that I had already won the battle. When I found out that I was going to have surgery, my heart stopped. My first thought was to drop school, but I said no, I have came to far to turn around. During the month of surgery, I began to have sessions with my teachers at school. I told them what happened. They told me to get the correct documentation and turn it in. I did exactly what the teacher said, and come to find out, that I really did not need the documentation. Every day that I was out of work, I read every chapter, did my quizzes, and make all As regardless of what the obstacles were. I have been ahead of the game and that what makes the difference.
    Future Female Educators Scholarship
I am studying in the education field because I have been an educator since high school. Throughout high school, I helped a lot of my peers pass different subject matters and tutor after class. I watched how many of my teachers that I have teach me in the past, teach with authority and have a passion to teach. The teachers were nice, had everything organized, and had good attitudes about teaching. I have always wanted to be in front of everyone, especially children, and teach the children what it means to have an education. I have come from a long line of educators in my family. My uncle, aunt, sister, and grand-parents were teachers. I have a lot of experience with my family and the major awards that were won with them. They also were inducted in sororities and fraternities that gained them excess to major events, resumes, and professional employers. I hope to graduate with my Bachelor's in the future. My goal is to apply to prestige, private, public, and academy preparatory schools just to gain experience and see the difference between all the schools. Once I get in, I will begin shaping and looking for ways to engage and encourage students to interact with each other in the classroom. I will take what I have learned from my courses from my graduation school, Head Start Programs, and online schools and compare it to others and their professional knowledge. I hope that it can place me where I want to be and give me a chance to help someone else in the future. Education is important to me because without a proper education, an individual cannot accomplish much in society. Education brings about a change when an individual faces challenges in real life; it decreases the challenges an individual faces in ife. The more experience you gain , the more opportunities are available to allow individuals to achieve possibilities in career and personal growth. In the 21st century, I see more males and females going for an education because of the way that the world is changing. The importance of education is at work through respecting the law, personal rights, and regulations. Education is extremely important for employment. Education provides high paying jobs, decent living, and provides the better communication.
    JoLynn Blanton Memorial Scholarship
During the pandemic, many educators were left with financial aid packets that would cost them in the future. The colleges around the world began to see declines in the way students applied to different colleges. I saw how the students went back home to their parents to save money until the next year. Maybe some students thought that the pandemic would be over in the next year, but that didn't happen right away. The fact that the world has been impacted by the pandemic will depend on the way the students and the people act with the pandemic itself. During the pandemic, I kept my education going. I had just entered the Bachelor's program in Early Childhood Education at my college called State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. I began to work hard to finish my degree as I did not know how the world would be in the upcoming 5 years. I stayed on the scholarship from my employer and kept taking my classes. I really appreciated the way my education was going at this time. Today education is still alive and has became a big part of my life. In my world, education has been an experience with different levels of challenges; I have gained insight of what I need to do and do it well. I have learned that education can be hard, but in the end will have its consequences if not completed on time. The world will still be standing and I will be in another part of the world shaping and deleting what I can't control. I have seeked a lot of help with education and it has helped me to this day. Shaping is defined as reinforcing a desired behavior. I have been thinking about the shaping of education in my world. Education has been in my world since I was born. I have learned education through words, pictures, symbols, letters, numbers, and professional educators. When I look at education, I look at how I will get into a good college and complete my courses. What will the teacher say that I can catch and understand the subject matter? Education has me me more aware and alert of the things that are to come. The education department has cancelled so many loans that students have paid out, but yet the cost of education is rising higher each year. Education has taken me down a road of success and completed seminars, workshops, and, professional development plans. The world will see me as a success, not a failure. The educational view has shaped me into pushing myself towards greater opportunities.
