I will first start by saying I have lived a very rough life. I got pregnant in high school by a man that beat and raped me for years. I had a second child that was stillborn. I have been in very harmful relationships. Last year, my oldest son died from an atv accident. Three days after his death, my husband of nearly 6 months killed himself right next to me. I have been depressed most of my life and the worst was after these deaths. I have been taking care of my disabled mother for years now, since my father died in 2017. I have decided I need to do something with my life. I need a career. I want to make my children proud. I want to make my life and my family’s lives better. Going back to school will get me there.
