I read books daily.

I read books daily.
Finding a sense of purpose took time. After escaping domestic violence in my twenties, I often felt stuck in survival mode, unable to prioritize beyond basic functioning. Years of abuse and trauma left lasting damage, and making sense of my new reality felt insurmountable, leaving me hopeless and defeated. During this challenging time, I doubted the existence of meaning and purpose, especially amidst suffering. Drowning in PTSD, I met a clinical psychologist who changed my life with his insights and compassion. He reminded me that life can be worth living even when it is painful and helped me see that my negative beliefs were not facts. This transformative experience ignited my passion for psychology. The guidance and support I received were instrumental in my healing, and I aspire to extend the same to others who have faced similar hardships. With a deep understanding of trauma and PTSD, I am dedicated to helping others reclaim their lives and making a positive impact in the mental health field.
