I am STEM-oriented; from pushing myself in math classes to participating in after-school computer science clubs. However, my love for the arts is prominent in my search for novels and music history. When my need for a challenge is not satisfied in academics, I can be found pushing myself physically, on the cross-country course. These aspects of my life have pointed me to an interest in not only satisfying my drive for a challenge but also creating a passion for helping others. I believe that it is essential to encourage women in STEM. To make easily accessible resources and dissolve the stigma that women do not belong in STEM. I have been lucky enough to have strong and influential women in my life, and I hope to help young girls just like my role models have helped me. To start this, I have brought a coding club to my school in order to inspire and give my peers confidence in the tech world. I am searching for higher education in the world of data science and aerospace engineering so that I can impact the future of our world.
