Hi! My name is Stacy Beyale.
I am going to college to become a Paramedic because I love learning about medical science and helping people. I want to work on the Navajo reservation to help my people. I decided to become a Paramedic after my little brother had choked. Thankfully, my older brother and I knew what to do and were able to clear his airway. Although the experience had scared me, it helped me to realize that I could be a help to others, especially in their greatest times of need.
My parents taught me to work hard and to avoid debt as much as possible. Receiving a scholarship will help me achieve my goals. Getting proper education is my highest priority, I refuse to let finances slow down my chance at my dream. I raised lambs in 4-H and was able to make enough money from the sale of my sheep to purchase my first car. I am never afraid to work hard.
I love to be outdoors, especially with my family. We love to go camping, hiking, and fishing. My family has shown me so much support and given me much insight into achieving my goals. My dad would tell me "How bad you want it?" I decided to make this my own motivational quote. It reminds me to keep trying, to look back and see my progress, and find the strength and willpower to achieve and overcome my challenges.
