With a strong passion for medicine and healthcare, I always pursue diverse experiences- because I believe every single one of them have the power to shape who I am. Whether in the lab, on stage, or in my community, I strive to grow, lead, and create impact.
I’ve conducted hands on molecular biology research through the prestigious Wesleyan Research Program and enrolled in college level coursework through Wesleyan University’s High School Scholars Program. I trained as an EMT and shadowed orthopedic surgeons at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, expanding my understanding of patient care.
With over 200 hours of hospital volunteer work, I’ve built a strong foundation in service. I work to lead the Greater Together Community Fund, where we’ve granted over $25,000 to local nonprofits. My medical TV series and work with Stemteenities connect students to healthcare careers. I’ve been honored with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, and was featured in Rocky Hill Life Newspaper for my contributions to medicine, volunteerism, and cultural advocacy through Kuchipudi dance.
Leadership has been central to my journey- as Vice President of Pre-Med Club, Secretary & Board of Ed. Rep of Student Council, Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, and a publicist for the Rocky Hill Historical Society. I’m also a proud member of NHS, NAHS, Tri-M, NSHSS, and a HOSA State Finalist in Mental Health Promotion.
Ultimately, my goal is to become a compassionate healthcare professional who blends innovation & service to leave an impact on the world!
