I grew up in New York City, where I saw early on how environmental issues play out unevenly across communities, and that experience is what drew me to this field. I am genuinely passionate about sustainability, clean energy, and the systems that connect environmental science to real-world decision-making. My coursework and hands-on experiences have taken me from active construction sites to international fieldwork to published research, and I have found that the problems I care most about sit at the intersection of technical rigor and social impact. I believe that solving environmental challenges at scale requires understanding both the engineering and the economic and policy dimensions, which is why I pursued a Business minor alongside my engineering degree. Outside of academics, I am drawn to art, fashion, interior design, and the aesthetics of how spaces and objects are made. I play club volleyball, love to cook, and find that staying curious across fields, from luxury and design to climate policy to data analysis, makes me a more creative and well-rounded thinker. I am excited about building a career that reflects all of those dimensions.
