Hello, I am Sophia Miller. I am a high school senior from Minnesota. I am seeking higher education at North Dakota State University where I will study social work, human development, and family science. I am pursuing this degree to become a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children. I am seeking financial assistance because I am fully responsible for funding my own education, as I am not eligible for financial aid grants, and my parents are not able to contribute. I am willing to work hard to support myself and pursue my college education, but the expensive college tuition is more than I can handle on my own. I am seeking scholarships so that I can fully engage myself in learning rather than worrying about how I can afford my education. It would also help me avoid an excessive amount of student loan debt in the future.
