I learned early on that the most impactful changes often begin with curiosity and a desire to solve problems. Witnessing the effects of leadership and economic systems in my community inspired me to delve into Economics, a field where I strive to design strategies that can shape the futures of nations. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to making opportunities accessible. Whether serving as Vice President of the NAACP chapter at UMassD, or working as a Senator in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), I aim to empower people to reach their fullest potential. 💡 What drives me? It’s the vision of using policy, research, and business acumen to support sustainable development and uplift underrepresented communities globally. Outside of academics and work, I enjoy exploring new languages (currently learning Spanish!), playing tennis, and participating in cultural dance dramas. I’m also a big advocate for self-expression, both for myself and others, having overcome my own journey of finding confidence as a college student.
