As a non-U.S. citizen pursuing my education, I have encountered several challenges along the way. One significant challenge has been navigating the complexities of the education system and adapting to a new cultural and academic environment. Adjusting to a different language, teaching methods, and educational norms presented initial hurdles that required extra effort and perseverance to overcome. Language barriers posed a particular challenge, as English is not my native language. Initially, understanding lectures, participating in discussions, and completing assignments in a language that was not my first language required additional time and dedication. However, I sought various resources, such as language courses, tutoring, and language exchange programs, to improve my language skills and enhance my academic performance. Another challenge I faced as a non-U.S. citizen was the financial aspect of pursuing education. International students often encounter higher tuition fees and limited access to financial aid compared to domestic students. To address this challenge, I actively sought scholarships, grants, and opportunities to help alleviate the financial burden. Additionally, I developed effective budgeting skills and sought advice from financial advisors to manage my expenses efficiently. Despite these challenges, I have remained resilient and motivated in pursuing my education. The support and guidance from professors, mentors, and peers have been invaluable in helping me overcome difficulties. Building strong relationships within the academic community and seeking guidance from advisors have provided me with the necessary resources and support to navigate the educational landscape successfully. Regarding my career aspirations, I have always been passionate about chemical engineering. I believe that post-secondary education is crucial for acquiring the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to excel in my desired career path. By pursuing higher education, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of my field, develop expertise, and cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, I aspire to make a meaningful impact in my chosen field and contribute to addressing global challenges. Through post-secondary education, I will have the opportunity to conduct research, engage in practical experiences, and collaborate with experts and peers from diverse backgrounds. This will not only equip me with the necessary tools and knowledge but also broaden my perspective and enable me to approach complex problems with creativity and innovation. Moreover, post-secondary education provides a platform for personal growth and development. It offers exposure to a diverse range of ideas, cultures, and experiences, fostering intellectual curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world. I believe that education is a lifelong journey, and post-secondary education serves as a stepping stone for continuous learning, growth, and adaptability in an ever-evolving global landscape. In summary, as a non-U.S. citizen, I have faced challenges in adapting to a new academic and cultural environment, overcoming language barriers, and managing financial constraints. Through resilience, determination, and seeking support from various resources, I have overcome these challenges and continued to pursue my education. My career aspirations are driven by my passion for chemical engineering, a desire to make a positive impact, and the belief that post-secondary education is crucial for personal and professional growth.

My apologies for the oversight. Here's the corrected version: My Muslim identity will continue to be a guiding force in shaping my career and goals as I move forward. Islam teaches the importance of ethical conduct, compassion, and justice, which are values that I strive to embody in all aspects of my life, including my professional pursuits. In my career, I aim to promote understanding, inclusivity, and social justice. As a Muslim, I am deeply aware of the prevalent misconceptions and stereotypes that exist about Islam and Muslims. I aspire to work towards breaking down these barriers, fostering interfaith dialogue, and promoting religious tolerance and harmony. By choosing a career path that aligns with these goals, such as becoming a chemical engineer, I can actively contribute to creating a more equitable and compassionate society. Moreover, my Muslim identity has instilled in me a strong sense of social responsibility and the desire to uplift marginalized communities. Islam places a special emphasis on caring for the less fortunate, advocating for the rights of the oppressed, and addressing systemic inequalities. These principles have motivated me to engage in community service and volunteer activities, as well as seek opportunities to empower underserved populations. Receiving this scholarship would be instrumental in helping me achieve these goals. It would provide me with the necessary resources, support, and opportunities to further develop my skills, expand my knowledge, and engage in meaningful initiatives. With the financial assistance provided by the scholarship, I can pursue internships, attend conferences, and participate in relevant workshops that will enhance my understanding of social issues and equip me with the tools to contribute effectively as a chemical engineer. Furthermore, being a recipient of this scholarship would serve as a powerful testament to the value of diversity and inclusion within academia and the professional world. It would allow me to bring my unique perspectives and experiences as a Muslim individual to the table, contributing to a richer and more comprehensive understanding of the complex issues we face in the field of chemical engineering. In conclusion, my Muslim identity will continue to shape my career and goals by inspiring me to pursue a path centered around justice, compassion, and social responsibility as a chemical engineer. This scholarship would not only support my endeavors but also provide me with a platform to positively influence society and challenge misconceptions. I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered for this scholarship, which aligns with my values and will enable me to make a meaningful impact in my chosen field.

His decisions are influenced by benefits and consequences in the afterlife. True success is the success of the eternal life. This does not restrict the pursuit of success in worldly terms. However, there is an emphasis on intentions behind worldly pursuits–whether they are for the pleasure of Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) or for other purposes.Allah informs us: وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” [Qur’an; 51:56].
