NomineeBio
My name is Noah Barbot, a dedicated Legal Studies major on-track to graduate at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2025 with my BS.
My academic and professional journey is reinforced by a strong foundation in legal principles from current and ongoing work in the personal injury field. The experience I'm gaining has not only fueled my ambition to become a well-studied, Innovative and influential attorney, but also brought out my commitment to genuine empathy and community service. As is reflected by not only my career choice, but active volunteer work at local soup kitchens, internship opportunities, and leadership roles within various organizations.
I should note that I have developed a diverse skill set through various technical and collaborative projects. I led a team in designing an award-winning automotive robot, programmed a Java-based simulation that put an emphasis on user engagement, and collaborated on a NASA-affiliated project to create and optimize an autonomous marine vessel for emergency response. These experiences have honed my problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and innovative thinking, which I believe are crucial for a successful career in law.
As I prepare for a future in law, my goal is to enroll in a J.D. program at either UF or FIU. I'm driven by a passion for helping others, thus giving me a distinct dedication towards making a meaningful impact in the legal field beyond simply making a recovery for my clients. My academic excellence, combined with a genuine desire to effect positive change, makes me a deserving candidate for scholarship support.
