There are not many women in STEM. This is going to sound very broad, but I want to prove to other people that women could persevere in a male-dominated field of work. I do not know exactly what I want to do with my degree yet, but I already have internships lined up. From a young age, I loved math and sciences especially physics which is what led me to mechanical engineering. I live with my grandmother who had retired, so any scholarships I could get would be extremely helpful.
