The most helpful piece of financial advice I’ve received is that as soon as I reach the age of 18 would be to apply for a credit card and only use it for small purchases or gas. The reasoning behind it is so that I can pay it off and build my credit at the same time. Also another piece of advice that when I would get paid to put 50% of my check into a savings account so I would know how to manage and balance my money.
