Bio

I’m a dance performance undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s (hons) degree at an accredited conservatory in London. It’s my lifelong passion. “Home” is Texas, where I grew up and graduated from high school with academic honors including the National Honor Society, and where I trained in ballet, contemporary and modern from the time I took my first ballet/tap dance class in preschool. My weighted grade point average in high school was actually 4.3 because of the rigor of some of my classes. I’m also neurodivergent, and have worked really hard to overcome obstacles because of it. However, being neurodivergent helps me as a performing arts student because I see and process the world a little differently than most and that informs my creative work. My goals for the future are to become a professional performing artist. I am also interested in international affairs and one day might pursue a master’s degree in international relations. I had the opportunity to learn Russian during a critical languages intensive with the National Security Languages Initiative for Youth on academic scholarship, sponsored by the U.S State Department. That, and my summer in Portugal at a prestigious summer ballet intensive, as well as my current study in London have opened my eyes to the world.
