My name is Simone Whitfield. I am a senior at Duncanville High School, where I have been committed to showing academic excellence, being a part of the top 2% of a class of 1079 students and maintaining a 3.9 GPA. My academic endeavors are centered around a fervent passion for history, writing, and my business courses. I am a lover of learning. I have been an active participant on my school’s Varsity cheer squad since my freshman year, where I honed my leadership skills as a lieutenant. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Student Council, and DECA. Beyond academia, I am deeply engaged in community service initiatives, volunteering my time collecting items for women shelter, and can goods for food pantries. I am a member of Top Teens of America and DeSoto Teen Council. I am a staunch advocate for environmental conservation, actively participating in eco-friendly initiatives within my school community. My aspirations lie in the field of law, where I endeavor to merge my passion for writing, leading, and speaking to advancing human welfare and social justice with a law degree.
