Nekkanti Accounting Scholarship
As this chapter of my life approaches its dusk while the next approaches its dawn, it is very important for me to consider my future goals, as well as how my education and career path will affect them. Since math is a challenging but fun subject, studying accounting in college seemed like a good idea that would open a lot of doors for me. In the future, three goals that are important to me are helping other people, putting my skills to use, and having the time and ability to do things that bring me joy. Pursuing a career in accounting will help me achieve all three of these and more, creating a large impact on the world of business.
I’ve been involved in community service activities and groups for a long time, and I love the way it feels to help other people. Whether it’s making a surprise gift for someone, or helping take care of a public place, knowing that I made a positive impact on other people’s lives helps me feel like I belong. I hope to have a chance to continue to help people when I get a job in the future. Studying accounting would lead to plenty of job opportunities, which would allow me to help people and businesses out with my expertise in math.
Having a specific ability that I could channel into being productive would also be helpful. Throughout my life, I’ve discovered what things I love and what things I don’t like, and math is something that I’ve always loved since the beginning. So far, my passion for math has helped me do well in school, and I hope it will also help me do well in my future career. These skills won’t only be of use to me in my career, either.
The skills I’ll gain through education and a career in accounting will also help me with things that I do on my own time, which will also contribute to the world of business. Since accounting is in many ways influenced by computer science, it will help me learn how to code and make projects of my own that will definitely be of use in business. My expertise in accounting will also help me decide how to go about individual entrepreneurship opportunities. Studying accounting will give me the opportunity to diversify my skills to help the business world as much as possible.
In summary, I really hope that I can go to college to study accounting, because not only will it help me put my own talents and passion to use, it will let me help other people and give me the expertise to try new things. Many universities have amazing accounting programs that give limitless opportunities to students, and I really hope that I can be a part of one of them. No matter what happens, though, I’m confident that my passion for math and accounting will lead to great things, both for me and for the businesses that I will work for.
