Bio

I'm a junior at the University of Washington studying International Studies with a focus in Technology, Security, and Diplomacy. I believe that solutions to community needs can be realized in domestic and foreign environments alike, and I'm passionate about collaboration beyond borders to address shared issues. Beyond my coursework, I volunteer as a crisis hotline responder, maintain full-time employment as a museum professional, and participate in public meetings to improve Seattle's transportation infrastructure. This fall, I am preparing to visit Jamaica to participate in a disaster prevention program, where I will be assessing the needs of vulnerable populations and ensure they are prepared for the area's commonly-occurring natural disasters.
