For as long as I can remember, I've always tried to focus on how I can make the world around me better. As I grew older realized that through technological improvement, one could improve the quality of life. It's those hopes that influenced my choice to pursue Electrical Engineering. I hope to improve the quality of life through technological advancement using the various skills I acquire. I enjoyed the diversity of classes that I was able to take in high school, from AP Government and Politics to AP Calculus BC. During my time in high school, I took 13 Advanced Placement classes and several Honors weighted classes. Through this I was able to achieve a 4.0 (unweighted gpa) and a 5.3 (weighted gpa). During my senior year, I invested must of my time in writing a research study focused on the Impact of Modern Music in comparison to Classical Music on Stress Levels As Represented through Fluctuations of Alpha and Beta Brainwaves in Central Texas Highschool Students. I undertook this research study in order to aid teens whom typically are in a different stage of brain development than adults could decrease their Stress levels through Modern Music. As I've recently graduated high school, I will be pursuing Electrical Engineering with a concentration in computer engineering at Texas State University in Fall 2022.
