There are several things that inspire me to get involved in my community. First and foremost, I believe that every individual has a responsibility to contribute to the well-being of their community. Whether it's through volunteering, participating in local events, or simply lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, I believe that we all have the power to make a positive impact on the people around us. One of the main things that inspires me to get involved in my community is the sense of belonging and connection that it brings. I feel a strong sense of pride in my community, and I want to do everything I can to help it thrive. When we work together to make our community a better place, we not only benefit ourselves, but we also create a more positive and supportive environment for everyone. Another thing that inspires me to get involved in my community is the opportunity to make a difference and effect change. Whether it's through volunteering at a local shelter, participating in a community clean-up day, or advocating for a cause that I believe in, I find great fulfillment in knowing that I am making a positive impact on my community. In terms of how I have worked to influence change in my community, I have been involved in a number of different initiatives. For example, I have volunteered at a local food bank, helping to distribute food to those in need. I have also participated in community clean-up days, working to beautify and improve the appearance of my community. In addition, I have been involved in advocacy efforts, speaking out on behalf of causes that I believe in and working to raise awareness and support for important issues. Overall, what inspires me to get involved in my community is the belief that we are all interconnected and that our actions have the power to make a difference. Whether it's through volunteering, participating in local events, or advocating for change, I believe that we all have the ability to positively impact the world around us, and I am committed to doing my part to make my community a better place for all. In my own experience, I have volunteered at various stages to play what I believe is my role in my community. I started a GSA in my highschool and continue to advocate for change at the college level. I am a part of the diversity and inclusion committee as race and ethnicity advocate and strive to influence change.
