Bark Of Spark When was the last time you had to walk your dog? As a previous dog owner, I know balancing your workload and taking care of your canine friend can be overwhelming. Maybe you have to work? a party? or you simply want to finish that show. So as I walked to the deli to get my bacon egg and cheese I asked myself "how I can I contribute?" "can I even help with all these school assignments?". As i slowly walked i heard a dog barking, and the idea hit me. I'll start a dog walking business!!! I smirked and softly said that bark gave me a spark. After getting my bacon egg and cheese, I quickly shuffled home, I was excited to put this plan into motion. I opened the door so quickly the scent of my mom's Arroz,carne, and abichuela dish( rice, chicken, and beans) slapped my face. I rushed to my room and tossed my unfinished essay off my laptop. I aggressively opened my laptop and quickly started working on a flyer. Of course, I finished working on the flyer I contacted my friend and asked her if she wanted to help me out. The next day, we headed to Union Square Park and taped flyers on poles and any available areas, I was so thrilled I almost started dancing on the spot. As I headed back home riding the M2 bus, I thought. This is great, as an aspiring veterinarian I will be able to get experience working with animals, and ill be able to help my fellow new yorkers. As time progresses i hope i will be capable to support my community in more prominent ways.
