Shelby Brage (she/her) is an MD candidate at the Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York. As an aspiring gender-affirming care provider, she is committed to advancing medicine to better serve the transgender community through research and service. Her notable appointments include the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, where she also supports the Integrated Transgender Clinic's Community Advisory Board, and the Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery. Shelby has worked extensively to improve access to gender affirming surgeries as a volunteer with Queer Care Inc. She is an affiliate of Medical Student Pride Alliance and a member of the Association of Out Surgeons and Allies. Shelby also serves as a NY state representative for OutCare Health.
