I am a 38-year-old nontraditional student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Management degree at Rasmussen University, with an expected graduation date of September 2027. As a single mother of two daughters who are both attending college, I returned to school to complete a goal that I put on hold when I became a teenage mother. Balancing school, work, and family responsibilities has not been easy, but I am committed to creating a better future for myself and my family. One of my greatest accomplishments is raising two successful daughters who graduated from high school and are now pursuing higher education. My goal is to use my business degree to make a positive impact in my community while continuing to demonstrate the value of perseverance and lifelong learning. I believe that education can change lives, and I am determined to prove that it is never too late to achieve your dreams. My personal motto is: “I cannot change where my story began, but I can decide where it goes from here.”
