I am a first generation student at Eastern Illinois University. I am the first one in my family with a disability to go to college. My major is Human Services. In Human Services You have so many opportunities. I’m hoping to get a job where I can be a counselor in a school setting and help children. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy on the right side of my body and a learning disability. My disability has caused me to take several years to complete my degree and I’m having trouble to pay for my last semester at Eastern. I come from a single parent household I have eight other siblings. I am passionate about helping people I love working with kids. I just want to help kids have a great life having someone be there for you as one of the warding things in life and I want be there for them to show them they can make a change in this world because I didn’t have that in my life.
