After building a successful career in drug development, advancing through roles from research associate to Vice President, I made the bold decision to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. My journey has been one of grit, discovery, and transformation.
Throughout my time in the biotechnology industry, I had the privilege of leading talented global teams to achieve extraordinary milestones: bringing life-changing therapies to market, securing partnerships, and directing multiple international clinical trials. These experiences taught me the power of resilience, collaboration, and vision; skills I now bring to my work in veterinary medicine.
Transitioning into veterinary medicine has been both a personal dream realized and a professional reinvention. As a third-year veterinary student, I’m channeling my background in scientific research and leadership toward a new mission: to provide high-quality, accessible veterinary care that empowers pet owners to make informed, confident decisions about their animals’ health.
Alongside my studies, I manage the family farm with my husband, which keeps me grounded in the agricultural community I plan to serve. My goal is to merge clinical practice with research, integrating innovation into rural veterinary medicine.
My journey from corporate boardrooms to barn aisles has taught me that science and compassion can coexist and that it’s never too late to realize your dream. I’m excited to continue embracing life’s challenges while helping build a healthier future for both the pets and the people I serve.
